AIMS

ENGLISH ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME 2016 IS ORGANISED TO:

›  Allow the students to express their thoughts in English.

›  Nurture the creativity of students in communicating in English

›  Enable students to improve their language through their content knowledge.

OBJECTIVES

BY THE END OF THE PROGRAMME, THE STUDENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO :

›  Listen and reply to questions in the form of an interview.

›  Construct verbal sentences through guided wordplay.

ISSUES ARISED

• ›          DIFFICULTY IN GETTING EQUAL AMOUNT OF PARTICIPATION FROM ALL DEPARTMENTS.

SOLUTION.

THE EVENT SHOULD BE SCHEDULED EARLIER AND ACTIVITIES CAN BE CARRIED OUT IN A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME TO PURSUE THE TARGETED STUDENTS ACCORDING TO DEPARTMENTS.

*The activities were carried after the 19^th to complete the targeted participants of 304 students. Therefore a total of 304 participated but that doesn’t indicate all departments had equal amount of participants.

Progress: 

A Copy Of The Invite And R/R Given Out To All English Lecturers (Diploma & Degree ) Before Exam Week.

Each Lecturer Was Suggested To Provide A Minimum Of One Student Entry ( 700 Words Essay) Before 30^th May 2016

The Students Entry Will Be Compiled And Uploaded Via www.goipeace.or.jp As Multiple Entries By Institution Before 15^th June 2016 Under Category B: Youth (Ages 15-25)
