Speaker’s Corner 2018 Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan is carried out under the umbrella of English Enhancement Program (EEP) with the assistance of English language lecturers from the General Studies Department and the Student Representative Council.

Kejayaan / Pencapaian
  1. Students were given a platform to speak out in front of an audience.
  2. Students built up their confidence in speaking.
Ringkasan Perjalanan Program
The concept of Speaker’s Corner here is very mobile.
  1. A total of 3 students from each class are asked to gather at selected spots in each department.
  2. Each student who volunteered speaks for about 5 minutes on a given topic.
  3. The allocated time for the program is for half an hour.
  4. Student Representative Council conducts the Speaker’s Corner in the canteen and cafĂ© where there are a large number of students gathered during lunch time.
  5. Students are given a Voice it Out book mark and a certificate of participation.
  6. Students fill in a feedback form after each session.
Objektif Program
  1. To enhance student’s spoken English.
  2. To instill confidence in speaking English.
Strategi Pelaksanaan
1.      Students volunteer themselves and inform their interest to the class English lecturers.
2.      Students speak on a topic of their choice.
3.      Students are given a book mark and certificate of participation after each session.
4.      Students fill in the feedback form.
Masalah / kekangan yang dihadapi
1.      At times students are relunctant to speak in front of the audience.
