Ringkasan Perjalanan Program |
The English Language Unit, Department of General Studies in
collaboration with the English Enhancement Programme (EEP), CISEC and Alumni
Association, Polytechnic Ibrahim Sultan has successfully organised two (2)
main activities in conjunction with the Nail the Job 4.0 2022 program. Among
them are the Resume Workshop, Cover Letter & Job Interview which was held
on 11 October 2022 and Exclusive Mock Job Interview with industry experts on
18 October 2022. The Resume, Cover Letter & Job Interview on 11 October was
fully conducted by 28 officers from the Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Johor led by
Puan Kamalia Sunarti (Head of Learning & Development, Port of Tanjung
Pelepas). All students who are currently attending the DUE50032 Communicative
English 3 course, more than 400 students attended the workshop. Meanwhile, 30
selected students were invited to attend the Exclusive Mock Job Interview
with industry experts comprising Funai Corporation, Legoland Resort Malaysia,
Create Asia Worldwide and Afiq M. As a result of this programme, students are
able to equip themselves with skills that stand by the changing world of work
and society. Students can also improve their basic job skills such as
communication skills in English, soft and technical skills. |

1. To develop
communicative competence among the students during the job interview 2. To expose students to
authentic experience handling job interviews with the panel of experts 3. To guide students with
accurate tips and strategies to write compelling resumes and cover letters |
